Andor E11 Daughter of Ferrix | Star Wars | Recap & Review | Aradhye Axat

This is the penultimate episode of the first season of Star Wars Andor, starring Diego Luna as the titular character. Let's see how this goes...

Quick recap: Non-premeditated murder. Rebel heist. Back home. Labor camp. High politics. Bureaucratic manipulations. Friends & family. Saw Gerrera [Forest Whitaker] X Luth(i)en [Stellan Skarsgard]. Sacrifice.

Oh right, that [obviously] reminds me - here are the previous episodes :

Andor Episode 1 [Kassa] and Episode 2 [That Would Be Me] Review

Episode 3 [Reckoning] and Episode 4 [Aldhani] of Andor by Star Wars

The fifth episode: The Axe Forgets, and the spectacular sixth: The Eye.

The seventh was simply titled Announcement: of the Rebellion, that is.

The eighth instalment focused on Andor's imprisonment: Nobody's Listening, shouted out by our titular hero himself in his prison cell.

The ninth was Nobody's LIstening - and what a true epiphany that is lol.

Finally, the previous episode was the One Way Out uprising of Narkina 5.

C'mon now, get on with the second-to-last episode of Andor's Season 1.

Maarva, who was bound to die since I know Hindi ["maar" means "die"], is dead. Bee, who I knew is going to be an important droid [since I know Star Wars as much as a layman does/dies], will help the titular Daughter.

Cassian Andor has two days to get to his mother's funeral. Not that he knows she's dead. Reminds me: Albert Camus' "My mother died today."

Now THAT was a book that is as far removed from Star Wars as reality is.

The alien captors of Andor and his fellow escapee let them go pretty easily. Wait what? Is this how sick they are of the Empire's tyranny?

Vel [pining for Cinta, who will show up on Ferrix, no doubt], shows up at the antique shop of Luth(i)en, who's meeting Saw Gerrera in a Fondor.

Cinta told Vel who tells Kleya about Andor's mother's obsequies so there.

On Ferrix, Maarva's home is in constant surveillance: I know the feeling.

Keysax invites Bix to join him. In what, I'm very anxious to find out. Yup.

Corv is yet another lazy shot at turning a normal word alien [Corvette].

Vel and Mon Mothma realize that four hundred thousand credits is a lot.

Karn(a) from Indian myhtology but absolutely opposite to this character is contacted by his former savior, Mosk [another lazy conversion: Musk].

Andor recovers his loot from the heist from his erstwhile hotel room. I forget the planet? Needless to say, doesn't matter after his lucky escape.

Luth(i)en lets the decision to let Kreegyr go down or go down together.

And Luth(i)en breaks their tractor beam to get away and beyond. WOW!

The Empire official is left standing dumbstruck in his wake. OH YEAH!

Andor and fellow escapee split ways to double thier rebellion chances.

The last episode promises to be a firecracker of a humdinger episode.
