What a spectacle it would be, far surpassing the Perseid meteor shower! Lucasfilm's level of space CGI continues to expand its (digital) horizons.

Now, stormtroopers (NOT), right turn! With me! Let's march right into the plot and its fallout - actually I guess the fallout part will happen later.

The heist runs into complications, because what's a heist without them? Answer: it's the video of Hoobastank's The Reason which you can watch:

Also, sacrifices contribute to revolutions, and it seemed obvious that the young, idealistic insurgent would become a martyr for the cause. Adios...

The ex-storm trooper is also among the lost, and the fates of two of the conspirators is left uncertain. In case you are intrigued about who they are, lemme give a quick rundown of the heist's perpetrators, in order:

Our titular hero, Cassian "Kassa" Andor, looking for his long-lost sister in a galaxy far, far away. The leader, Vel, is a strong woman - not much of her backstory is shown, except her nice bonding with her team's medic, Cinta. Their "inside man" - imperative for heists - is an Imperial officer, Gorn. Tamaryn and Skeen are the muscle guys [my comment on this: "The actor playing Skeen, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, was in a chef shit show called The Bear. It had nothing much to do with a bear, or a chef. Meh."].

Finally, the youngster, Nemik, rounds out the rebel group. His death is what will trigger Andor's turning into a full-power Rebel asset, I think. I doubt if the others [Tamaryn dies during the heist, Cinta and Gorn get left behind (seemingly purposely), Skeen has traitorous thoughts and is served his just desserts by Andor, who thinks he can get away scot free.

But the Price To Play the subversive game is that you can't escape, ever.

After they escape through a needle's Eye (pun fully intended), the news spreads through the galaxy (NOT the Hitchhiker's Galaxy, unfortunately but who knows, maybe in the future we can make a fan-fic collab of the two) about the daring heist on the Empire's coffers, and the leaders of the nascent Rebel Alliance rejoice - but its tinged with a dash of dread.
