I'm old school, so i stick to remembering the good times and bantering about current squad performances
Manchester United vs Ipswich Town FA Cup 5th Round Preview & Score Prediction
Youth Courage Greatness - that’s what Manchester United need to get back to where we once belonged - the top of the premier league and in the knockout stages of the champions league.
Hello my fellow football fanatics and a painful shoutout to my long-suffering Red Devils!
Knockout games are especially exciting because the recent run of form does not matter at all.
Even the lure of three points is not there - you either win and progress or lose and crash out.
I think that gives players an added motivation to give it all on the pitch of the Theatre of Dreams.
Speaking of Old Trafford, it’s possible that the current team has been taking home advantage for granted, because of multiple statistics that paint a picture of complacence. First up, we aren’t scoring in the first half, at all. We have been losing home games way more than earlier, with 7 defeats already. We don’t want a repeat of the 1963 season, when we lost 9 at Old Trafford. Even though Ipswich last won at Old Trafford in May 1984, which is more than a year before I was born, on 15 August 1985, but call it a coincidence or a spiral, that was also the last time Manchester United lost a league game that we were leading at half time. It has been 388 games since that loss, and I don’t want to have to make another video in which we have rewritten a terrible statistic. Instead, I want the Red Devils to show attacking intent by scoring. Finally, Ipswich Town’s one clean sheet came during the rising and shining of Fergie’s Fledglings, in November 1993. I actually became aware of Manchester United during the late 90s, mainly because of David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. Since those days I have always taken the number 7 shirt in all the teams I played in, from school to post graduation. Speaking of graduation, Wrexham are playing solid football for their level, and are also playing in the semi final of the Football League Trophy at the same time as this match, so while I livestream Manchester United versus Ipswich Town, I will also be keeping a virtual eye via Google on that match, because let’s face it, Deadpool and Ronald MacDonald have literally opened up the concept of football team ownership and showed us the huge ups and downs of winning and losing. It’s bittersweet, but as I always say, like in life, as in sports, the past is history, the future is a mystery! So here’s hoping for a 3-0 win, because the football gods know that we need it.
Lastly, thank you to PL For India who sent me this nice cushion a couple of seasons ago! Ciao!
