Kakolat Waterfall, Nawada
- Aradhye Ackshatt
Of yore there was a king of old
In Treta Yug was his story told
Angered a sage with words bold
Curses! As a snake he must mold
At the feet of the gushing water
Carving rock with natural power
Must he spend eternity, coiled
Imagine as his patience boiled
Cascading like a bride’s luscious locks
Legends wrapped around it like snakes
Mahabharatian myths speak of its curses
Pandavs passing through: the coil breaks
Eternally thankful the king rises
Repentant reptile, he surmises
Never, to his 5 heroes he cries
Shall he ever utter sneaky lies
Once they bathe in this pure waterfall
The Pandavs declare, hear you all,
Rid of their sins the pious will be
And live in heaven for eternity
So are told the myths of Kakolat
To feel the truth, visit you must!
