And I know injuries are way too many right now, but that’s no excuse for players on the bench who are playing at the highest level in club football, is it now? But enough about the past. Let’s focus on the future - Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Now, history supports us in this fixture. We haven’t lost to Fulham in the FA Cup in over a century, the last loss being in 1908. Even in the Premier League, we’ve already done the double over them, albeit by just a one goal margin in both games, without letting them score. So, I predict a 3-1 victory, because knockout games tend to encourage players to give their best on the pitch of the Theatre of Dreams at Old Trafford. We managed to score 3 against Ipswich since they spurred the players to look for the first equalizer and then a winner, and I hope we will not have to do that, but Fulham might exploit our leaky defence and get a goal somehow.
