Andor E7 Announcement SWEU | Axat

The recap is crisp. I like that in a Star Wars [or any other, for that matter] episode. It means they needed the time for the actual storyline. Let's go!

If you need a recap, just by the way [irresistible Red Hot Chili Peppers], here are the previous episodes - actually, my rather hilarious takes on them, even if I say so myself, because self-belief is what drives us on. :)

Andor Episode 1 [Kassa] and Episode 2 [That Would Be Me] Review

Episode 3 [Reckoning] and Episode 4 [Aldhani] of Andor by Star Wars

The fifth episode: The Axe Forgets, and the spectacular sixth: The Eye.

Right then. Karn, whose name echoes the warrior Karn of Mahabharat [like umpteen other slightly-modified terms and names in Star Wars], has got an interview lined up courtesy the family doyen Uncle Harlo, but he sees news of the heist during the Eye, and we know he'll bunk it.

Emperor Palpatine is shook. All of ISB/KGB is in a very uneasy tizzy.

Mon Monthma [Moon-Moth-Mother] is shook too, but not Luth(i)en. That's a Lord of the Rings reference: the Tale of Beren and Luthien.

Speaking of the Lord of the Rings, here is what I feel reg Rings of Power:

"Reg" is also the root word for king in Latin, etymologized from rex, a la T Rex, which I saw again after many years while watching JP: Dominion.

Ooh! New series, who dis? A red-hooded lady who is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike Little Red Riding Hood makes her way to rebels. The pathfinder method they are using - chalk signs on the walkways - always reminds me of End of Days [Arnold Schwarzenegger + Gabriel Byrne (Devil), both very ably supported by Udo Kier and Robin Tunney].

The machine [that Pink Floyd sang about] kicks into high gear at both macro and micro levels. The mysterious rebel meets another lady rebel. Both of them are concerned for those who pulled off the Aldhani heist.

B2EMO [+ other droids in the Star Wars Extended Universe] are like pets.

"It's all come undone." Reminds me of times when football teams lose even after scoring 1, 2, even 3 goals...and sometimes over two games.

"Get out of the cold and damp." It's like the script writers are trying to [and succeeding in] awakening nostalgia, this time for Sounds of Silence.

Cassian Andor wants to up & leave Ferrix, but it turns out to be harder than he'd expected, what with his adoptive mother digging in her heels.

Mon Mothma is at a high society do and says she'll be visiting her home: Chandri-La, which I can convert to Hindi and say The Pass of the Moon. That is because Chandra is moon and La is mountain pass in Ladakhi.

"Life takes us where it will." Cliched but not untrue just due to being one.

Mon Mothma is right. We act differently than what we would when alone.

Bureaucrats, however, are almost as stuck up IRL as they are depicted. But we need them to run society according to rules that give us peace.

Enter new planet, Niamos. Beachside playground, kinda Goa type vibes.

Cassian Andor's new alias is Keef. After Clem, I think that is an upgrade.

After a Kafka-esque sequence of unfortunate events, he is jailed for 6 years. At least, that is the upgraded judgment passed upon him for various transgressions that he may or may not have committed.

Karn, meanwhile, is living his own Kafka-style life of anonymous ennui.

So at this juncture, it seems Karn will free himslef as well as Andor. Let's see what happens in the last quarter of this galactic game, shall we? May the Force be with you, and let's be kind to one another, as Mr. Fry says.
