The Bad Batch - [Star Wars: The Clone Wars Spin-off] Episode 11 - Review - Devil's Deal

Want to catch up on the adventures of the Bad Batch? Episode 10's here!

This time, there is no "Previously On The Bad Batch" before the Lucasfilm logo begins the Red vs Blue parade of masks and droid heads.

If you haven't seen this machinima web series and you like humor, see!

Back to the Bad Batch opening sequence, and I am slightly curious about the swiftly changing characters that appear in the opening sequence.

Like in the last episode, we open on a crowd of Twi'leks who are being subjugated (goes without saying, against their wills, but just to be sure).

It seems like this is a sort-of origin/throwback episode for Clone Wars characters: Hera and her father, Cham Syndulla. For non-Star Warriors, this is of no consequence, because The Bad Batch is a standalone watch.

I love how some planets are shown so close together you'd think they would crash into each other, but there is a cosmic dance going on that keeps them spiraling around and about each other and other bodies.

I have not taken such liberties with my science fiction, keeping it real. :)

Hera and her uncle Gobi Glie meet with the Bad Batch, who give them some weapons, but most importantly, Hera meets up with Omega.

Cue a chat between the kids about how flying is a feel, and it is something I recently saw when I watched Wonder Woman 1984.

There is the mandatory action sequence, a chasm-chase-and-catch.

For those of you interested in inter-series shout outs, the rotund blurrgs are the ride of choice for the Twi'lek, and appeared in The Mandalorian!

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Hera being searched for by the stormtroopers of the Empire, and her parents being taken prisoner.
