Have You Seen Monk?

When i was watching an old episode of the detective series Monk, i saw Nick Offerman, who is just awesomax in parks and recreation. cameos by thespians who became famous later always intrigue me, because i am a one man show, kinda like eminem, whose latest album, named the death of slim shady is now on my to-listen list. I’ll let you know if i feel that it’s a coup de grace!

anyway, in the early seasons, the murderer was often shown to us, the audience, in the cold open. all that remained for monk to do was to figure out what happened. here's what happened. mister monk's first assistant slash nurse, sharona, played by bitty schram, was replaced in season 3 by natalie, played by traylor howard. around the same time, the identity of the murderer started becoming more of a mystery. and because smartphones were not yet everybody's soulmate, the sort of simplistic sherlock holmes style was helped along by lots of serendipity, which means that monk chanced upon a lot of evidence coincidentally, while also being helped by his new assistant. i like it, and now i am going to see the post-pandemic movie, which i might or might not review, i don't know, because nobody knows the future. #6hourism as i say and do, which means living in the moment the best you can, while acting in the interest of the best future you can imagine for the next 6 hours, on an ongoing basis, and trying your best.

By now i have seen enough of life to know that the past is history, the future is a mystery, so why not enjoy the present like the gift that it is, and be thankful for every breath you take, but not in the creepy stalker way that sting meant when he sang it with the police. I sometimes get anxious when i mistype because lots of weird thoughts spring up in our brains. But what can you do? The human brain is an infinitely complex system, and i am just happy that i am witnessing the growth of a young mind in my little itty-bitty daughter, adwitya. I want to make many more vlogs but like i said, i stay in the moment and try to capitalize on every chance i get to record!

So do check out my other videos, and i hope you have awesomax fun doing so, and when you travel to naturally beautiful places - or any place, especially the himalayas, because that’s where my heart’s home is, then please practice zero-impact travel. don’t pollute the place with plastic.

I know that is a far cry, unlike the video game, from how i started this video, but that’s just how life goes sometimes, in unpredictable directions and on sudden tangents. That’s all i have to say about that, but not really, because unlike the character forrest gump, i am quite loquacious. Also like the character monk, i have lots of OCDs and quite a few eccentricities, but I am what I am!

I almost forgot that i wanted to mention the actor stanley kamel, i hope i pronounced his name correctly, since he was replaced after his sudden death from a heart attack. We remember you, just as we remember every person close to us that we have lost, in our memories and memoirs.

If you read my travel book called a life afloat, you will encounter many, many more big words, so check out my upcoming video about big words that i learnt from big novels by big authors! Thnx!
