Hello my fellow Star Warriors, and may the fourth is nearly upon us! That said, there is another one year jump after the five-year timelapse between Seasons 1 and 2 of Cassian Andor's spycraft around the galaxy.
That puts us 3 years before the Battle of Yavin, and I relate. I am also building a sci-fi universe with my Android series, the first volume is available at the links in the description, and the second volume has encountered a delay, majorly due to my darling daughter Adwitya.
Nevertheless, I shall go on writing and recording as long as I live.
Bix is still tortured by nightmares of the ghoulish Dr. Gorst, or Ghost.
Syril Karn is played by Kyle Soller - notice the reversal of initials and syllables, as well as another 'bowwowing' of a Hindu mythology name, Karn from the Mahabharat. Watch my previous vids for more examples.
He practices the age-old tried-and-tested home invasion slash break-in detector method used by spies - tying a slender string on the main door.
He is right to be suspicious - someone was in while he was away at work!
The point of these movie-length parts is world-building and character development. And there are a LOT of characters in Star Wars, isn't it?
Perhaps as a consequence of this intent, we see complicated political machinations and double-agent setups. When do we get into the action part of this otherwise sedentary episode? As it turns out, we never do.
BOOM! says Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera to Wilmon the Tech Boy, proving that agreements with rebels and robbers are always flexible.
Off goes Cassian to Ghorman, and Bix stays behind under the influence.
See you in my review of the next episode, "I Have Friends Everywhere!"
