Say Hello to my little friend, master yoda! Excelsior, fellow star warriors and May the force be with you! Let’s dive right in and begin my review of the acolyte, e6!
Let me start by saying spoilers alert, and if you haven’t seen my reviews of the previous episodes, check them out!
The acolyte has got some serious review bombing and I want to set the record straight - it is not a bad show at all.
Consider that at the start of this episode, we see a beautiful archipelago with one island even looking like a natural Statue of Liberty made from rock. The irony is that our heroine is imprisoned on this “unknown planet“ with Little Rock aliens.
Little Rock is also the name of one of the characters in zombie land, which brings me to the fantastical nature of creativity.
Shows like Star Wars and movies like zombie land trigger our imagination, even though they trigger very different feelings.
It is important to trigger our imaginations, especially for younger generations, so that we may push beyond the usual believably doable and create new, better things.
Whether it’s technology or society, humans must progress beyond infighting and learn to cooperate so as to utilise our collective knowledge to enhance earth.
I do not just mean our lives on earth, but our future as a species on our little blue marble, expanding beyond a pale dot.
That Carl Sagan term reminds me of young sheldon going trick or treating dressed as the visionary scientist.
I’ll get Back, like the beatles sang, to Star Wars from the stars where we will belong.
This is another slow burn episode with zero action and lots of exposition. The pace could be faster, because this show gets into emotional territory and stays there, sometimes overusing cliches.
But as a Star Warrior, I know that character development is a mainstay of this universe, and there’s a couple more episodes to go before the conclusion.
The reveal of qimir as the smiley Sith Lord was quite foreseeable, so now we have to see what he was in the past to become who he is now. The past is history, the future is a mystery, as I say about sports.
Speaking of sports, I also make videos about football and cricket, plus kabaddi! Watch my other videos and smash that sub button for awesomax fun, see you in my review of the next episode of the acolyte ! Thanks for watching, stay safe!
