Hello, my fellow Star Warriors! Previously regarding Andor, not "on Andor," since he is a character, not a planet, we saw the backstory of Cassian, our rebel spy hero, meeting his sarcastic droid companion.
The invasion and total annihilation of Ghorman is reminiscent of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, even though they haven't yet won the war.
Conceding territory is not just an outcome of war - it is the start of an occupation that will slowly eat away at all freedom for the conquered.
That is what has happened due to India letting Pakistan occupy Kashmir, and letting China occupy Aksai Chin. China and India eloquently avoid escalation along the border and no-man's land.
While politicians squabble, leaders act. While society sleeps, spies arise.
Our hero spy takes the leader of the Rebellion, Mon Mothma, to Yavin. We are one year away from the decisive Battle of Yavin, and I have reason to believe that the next three episodes, or mini-movie, will be focused on the lead-up to the Battle itself. Just like the Ghorman massacre was the tipping point that led to the Rebel Alliance being formed, the Pahalgam massacre was the breaking point for India destroying terrorist nests in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, or PoK.
We as a society and species need to smash terrorism's snake head and cooperate to move beyond our fragile blue marble into space, for real.
Watch my space exploration & human spaceflight videos in the playlist.
So, until the next week's final 3-episode mini-movie drops, Axat out!
